Vitaly Stasiv

Vitaly Stasiv

In his early childhood, at the age of six, he began practicing judo in Ukraine. In his teenage and student years, he studied traditional jiu-jitsu and aikido.

At the age of 23, he began to study Brazilian jiu-jitsu in his native city of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine as part of the Gracie Barr international association and later ZR Team led by Professor Vadym Puzanov - head coach of the Ukrainian branch. Actively attends educational seminars, international conferences and competitions both in Ukraine and Europe.
He starts training children's groups, and later also adult groups.
Under the leadership of Vitaly Stasiv, a large IJS school with more than 200 students, both children and adults, is growing.
Pupils become multiple champions of Ukraine, Europe and the world.
Vitaly Stasiv is a multiple champion of Ukraine in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a prize-winner of the European Championships. He has a master's degree in Physical Education and Tourism.
In December 2021, he receives a black belt from Max Carvalho.
In June 2023, together with a Roman Gorval, he opens the IJS international school in Europe in Paphos, Cyprus.

Ignaz Walder

Assistant coach

Ignaz Walder was born on December 15, 1982, and showed an interest in martial arts from a young age in Kazakhstan. Later, he pursued a degree in sports and began his wrestling journey in 1999 during his studies. He achieved remarkable success, quickly earning the title of champion due to numerous victories. Several years later, he immigrated to Germany and in 2003, he began his journey in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. Initially, he focused on learning techniques and gaining experience. In Jiu-Jitsu, Ignaz found a new challenge and began participating in competitions. Recognizing his skill and desiring further improvement, he took up Taekwondo and Judo in 2006. He achieved significant success both in Germany and on the international stage.

Through more than 100 fights and numerous victories, he became a candidate for the title of Master of Sports in Jiu-Jitsu. Additionally, in 2014, he attained a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu. With over 20 years of experience, Ignaz started training multiple groups in self-defense and preparation for extreme situations. His expertise covers disciplines such as Greco-Roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling, Taekwondo, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Eskrima, Fitness Trainer C, and Krav Maga. He is a candidate for the titles of Master of Sports in wrestling, Taekwondo, and Jiu-Jitsu, and holds a 1st Dan black belt in Jiu-Jitsu.

Professionally, Ignaz Walder learned and continues to practice as a massage therapist. In 2018, he also started working as a personal trainer, and since then, he has supported both companies and individuals in the field of sports for several years.
